Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Accident occurred on freeway in spokane,wa. traffic was stopped in my lane. i was hit in right rear corner after i had come to complete stop. this caused us to be thrown counterclockwise and forward. my wife's seatback gave way, causing her to fall backwards and striking her head on the sliding door window. this shattered the window, fortunately only causing my wife neck and back strain, and not cutting her at all. upon contacting the manufacturer, we were told the seat mechanism did not break, but bent which is what they said is as designed to prevent neck and back injuries. this is exactly the type of injury my wife sustained. a copy of the letter from the manufacturer is availble. *ak |
