| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The oct. 5th. incident happened while my camper was on the truck. tread was thrown and then the tire exploded. it tore the fender, body panel and running board. the tire was destroyed this tire had been a spare and had only about 14000 miles on it. i sent the tire to firestone and they said it wasn't their fault. the first incident occurred on aug. 30 when there was nothing in the truck bed and caused about $1,700.00 damage. firestone compensated me for this incident. i am sure both tires were faulty and plan to go to small claimes court for damages. *ak (dot number: vdw81xm399 tiresize: 265/75r16) |
