| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: We have experienced vibration problems at various speeds since the day we purchased the unit. despite my requests of fleetwood and ford to replace the tires they would only replace the rims. that helped but a slight vibration remained. we tolerated it for over two years. in september, 2001, while traveling 70 mph on an interstate, the inside left rear tire tread separated. firestone replace the tire at no cost to me. on november 22, despite the fact that i had the tires inspected and properly inflated by a firestone dealer prior to leaving, while traveling 70 mph on the turnpike, the inside right rear tread separated. i would not trust the remaining tires to get me home and had all seven tires replaced with another brand at my cost at a dealer 200 miles f rom my home. the vibration we have had for two years is gone! those firestone original equipment tires were obviously defective from the start, and i believe that i should be reimbursed for the cost of the new tires by either fleetwood, ford, or firestone.*ak (tiresize: lt225r75/1) |
