Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My primary concern is the engine trouble with my 1999 accord. when i need to accelerate the car "misfires" according to the gresham honda dealership. this is where the car is being serviced. contact name and number would be mark cawthorn @ 503-676-7070. i am very hesitant to pull out in traffic at any speed because i never know when my car will misfire. at times the acceleration sticks at both 2-3rpms. basically, there is no acceleration. the check engine light no longer comes on when the car hesitates. the first two times that the car was taken to the honda dealership the check light did come on. my car is currently on it's 5th stay with honda. they(honda and their technicians) seem to have no idea what the problem was. hopefully the problem will be resolved easily and most importantly, quickly. i'd hate to be the cause of an accident. equally as important, i have had a failure with my abs. while there was no accident, i barely stopped at the intersection while brakes locked up on pavement. i have had passengers in my vehicle on such occasions and each would be willing to give tesimonies to such failures as listed above. in fact, the honda technician has also experienced the "misfire" first hand in my accord. i may be a little difficult to reach with college and two jobs but please feel free to leave messages at either phone number. thank you for your time, amber weimerskirch. *ak (tiresize: w-10) |
