| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 2nd gear has gone out on my 2000 suzuki gsx-r750 motorcycle @ 5000 miles. i currently have just over 9k miles on it now. at least 45 % of the 2000 models have this problem and suzuki customer care denighs that there is a problem. suzuki even changed the parts for the 2nd gear for the 2001 models and there has been no problem with those. suzuki will not do a recall. this will cost me $1200 to get fixed at a dealership and i along with many others cannot afford this. this could very likely cause a person to wreak if the gear were to go out while turning cause the gear will skip and then grab causing the rear wheel to spin. please adress this with suzuki america. thank you.*ak |
