| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: There was a recall issued 2/11/99 stating solder joints near the wiring harness connector can crack causing the windshield wipers to work intermittently. consequence summary stated this condition can result in inoperative wipers, reducing drivers visibility, etc. we took the vehicle to metro chevorlet and they stated there was no problem with the wipers and they did not fix or replace anything. however when i drove away i turned on the wipers and heard the motor motor running but the wipers did not work. the recall stated the dealed will replace the wiper motor and circuit board and cover and they did not.*ak |
