Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Was crusing along at about 25 mph and the rear end locked up on motorcycle causing me to wreck. i injured my hip...at the time could not find cause of accident...so i fixed the bike and continued to ride...thereafter, the bike would occasionally jump out of third gear until this april 25th, when it totally lost third gear...manufacturer refuses to admit there is an issue, but i know of several people with same model that have had exact same problem. transmission is now being replaced by exteneded warranty company. victory needs to recall all of the '99 transmissions and have them replaced prior to failure. my bike has been out of service for over two months now due to inability of dealer to get correct parts from manufacturer.*ak
