| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*- while driving the 2001 gmc sierra extended cab at 20 mph she attempted to depress the brakes and the vehicle begaqn to slow down , then without warning the brake pedal went to the floor and vehicle accelerated. this failure resulted in a crash. the contact attempted to maneuver the vehicle to the left to avoid a collision, but was unable to, and the passenger side front bumper crashed into the driver's side passenger door of another vehicle. the road conditions were clear. the vehicle was drivable, however, the contact had the vehicle towed to the dealership. the contact stated there was a complete state inspection of the vehicle done by the dealership september 8, 2006, prior to the crash. the dealership replaced the front wheel sensor speed. the dealership investigated the vehicle after the crash and notfied the contact there was nothing wrong with brakes. the vehicle currently had 52300 miles. *ak |
