Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Vanity mirror fell off driver's side visor. the mirror had only been used to a minimal degree--once a month or less in the 20 months since purchase. a short time after, visor hinge became loose. toyota said plastic hinges were worn and entire visor needs to be replaced at a cost of over $200.00 for parts and labor. clearly the parts used in the visor hinge and to attach the vanity mirror to the visor are defective. there is a possibility that either part could dislodge while driving causing at the very least a distraction to the vehicle operator that could lead to an accident. mr
