Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: The transmission will not shift into third gear or will jump out of third gear binding up transmission. bike will jump/lurch out of control, sliding back tire causing lock up skid. engaging the clutch will not stop this action. it will sometimes jump forward unexpectingly causing rider to lose control. this problem with this year/make is well documented. polaris refuses recall to correct problems. nhtsa needs to intervene now before more riders are hurt or killed by this machine. this is the pinto/corvair of motorcycles. dt
