| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Kick stand will retract when weight is removed from it. as soon as you center the bike the kick stand retracts. when parking the bike you must hold the kick stand in the down position with you left foot until all the bikes weight is on it. this causes the rider to place his foot close into the bike while rolling the entire weight of the bike towards this weak leg. results are rider is off balance and if the stand were to fail his/her leg would be trapped under the bike as it rolled over. this has happen on two occassions and with a bike weighting in at over 639lbs serious injuries could result. on both of the previous incidents noone was injured but the rider was trapped under the bike and it took two bysiders to free them. dt |
