| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Consumer was traveling 60-70mph all of a sudden vehicle started speeding up to 85mph. cruise control had engaged on its own, almost to 100 mph. putting vehicle in neutral, and braking was only way to stop it. taking foot off brake vehicle would still keep speeding up. engine was runniing wide open. this was 2nd time it happened, 02-20-2001. vehicle is currently in shopfor repairs. manufacturer felt it was not their defect. consumer will have to pay for it. *aki |
