Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Consumer received repair kit sent for recall 00v189000. however, consumers complaint is that bolts sent in repair kit are not "lock-tight," and "bushing" that bolt fit into are corroded. *ak consumer states he took vehicle to dealer for bushing retainer replacement, they advised consumer he was responsible for repairs and front alignment, consumer bought the parts and took vehicle to an independent mechanic, the mechanic then showed consumer there was not a lock on any bolts that were used, consumer was advised that alignment could not be performed because the holes in the cradle that the bushings fit into were rusted too bad to hold the bushings tight and would not hold alignment, consumer states he is unable to drive vehicle. *jb |
