Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: As warranty item, dealer repaired broken passenger side motorized seat belt assembly. however, dealer refused to repair under warranty the broken seat belt buckle that attached to motorized assembly. requested $330 for repair/replacement. believe this is attempt by mfg to circumvent spirit of not the letter of restraint system regs, as seat belt system is only as reliable as weakest component, in this case a non-functioning buckle. like the motorized belts, the buckle should be a lifetime warranty item if the regs are to have meaning. *ak *jb ******dims 11 ivoq entry posted after 12/12/02 cut-over to artemis*****770288. |
