Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I have a 2000 model polaris victory motorcycle that has a defective transmission. the transmission does not shift properly, especially from 2nd to 3rd gear, often going into a false neutral and causing the engine to race. it will often hang up in gear when downshifting. transmission jumps out of 3rd gear when shifting up or down through the gears. this creates a very dangerous situation when in heavy traffic. it is getting much worse as the miles accumulate. i believe the transmission will fail; possibly locking up altogether and possibly causing a crash.*jb
