| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: the contact states the vehicle surged and lurched when stopping. the electronic throttle module (etm) was replaced in the vehicle once, two years ago. the problem recurred. a certified dealer was contacted, who completed diagnostic testing, but captured no codes. after several failed attempts while the etm was under warranty the dealership could not diagnosis the problem. now, after the warranty on the etm expired, the dealership has diagnosed the problem, the etm needed to be replaced again at the contact's expense. the contact was not the original owner of the vehicle. no repairs further have been made.*ak |
