| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: When driving on highway and now back roads, car will stall without warning. no noise, sound, or smoke. lose all power. very dangerous condition because i must pull over immediately. i lose all engine power and car will not restart. took car to my own mechanic and two "five star" chrysler dealers. nobody can figure out what is wrong. dealers tout the expertise of their factory-trained technicians. their able-bodied mechanics ran thorough diagnostics and assured me they tested every part they could think of. one dealer even called chrysler directly for assistance. nothing shows up on dealers' diagnostic equipment. my on-board computer is not coding any malfunctions. my car has left me stranded on the highway 3 times at night and two additional times on back roads. this problem occurrs without warning and it could happen anywhere, including a busy intersection. i seem to have a vehicle with an inherent, defective flaw that the best chrysler mechanics with the best training and diagostic equipment cannot find. this is an expensive and, more importantly, a dangerous problem.*ak |
