| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Fuel gauge indicates low fuel level when the tank is full and indicates full tank when there is no fuel. fuel sending unit replaced 2 times already. the first time on 02/01/00 with only 1064 miles on the car. the second time on 01/29/02 with 19175 miles on the car. a brief search on the internet found many other owners of mercedes-benz cars had similar fuel sending unit problem. however, mercedes-benz continues to say there is no problem with the fuel sending unit in their cars. *ak |
