| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I would like to report that the headlights do not provide sufficent lighting for night driving. we live in a large city and if it were not for the street lights, we would almost certainly see nothing. my wife wears glasses and can not see very well at night. this vehicle makes it dangerous and almost impossible for her to use it at night. we have explored a few options to provide additional lighting, none of which proved effective. the only solution is a set of lights from ford which cost over $800.00 before installation. the fact that these lights exist tell us that ford was aware of this problem and decided to do something about it 2 years after the production of our vehicle. but for everyone who owns a 95 or older, we are stuck with these lights that are good for lighting up about 7-10' of roadway in front of the vehicle. any help or assistance you can provide in this matter would be greatly appreciated. if anyone here needs to speak with me the best number to reach me at is [xxx], thanks for any assistance that you may be able to provide. sincerely [xxx]. *ak information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6). *tr |
