Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: This atv will boil the gas in the carburator and gas tank. this causes gas to come out of the carburator vent tube and drip onto floorboards. boiling gas in the carburator can also cause a vapor lock condition which is could cause a loss of power at a very dangerous moment such as climbing a steep hill. atvs of this model are having this problem all over the country but yamaha refuses to acknowledge that there is a design flaw. yamaha blames it on east coast fuel. even though owners of this atv in states other than e. coast states have reported this problem. sorry if this is not the correct forum to wage this type complaint.*ak |
