| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: This intermittent problem could cause someone to get injured if they are in freeway traffic and the vehicle will only go 25 mph!!! this vehicle has an intermittent problem of stalling when stopped at intersections (vehicle is idling). the car can be resstarted immediatly. however, after starting it has little power and the maximum speed is 25 mph. both the "check engine" and the "reduced power warning indicator lights" come on. it has been to two dealers a total of 6 times and they have not resolved the problem. i am afraid to drive the vehicle as i have been in 50 mph traffic going only 25 mph and feared for my safety. i would appreciate your review. the dealer has replaced the throttle plate, re-wired the wiring harness and made other adjustments. they still cannot fix the problem. this needs investigation! thanks |
