| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dealer diagnostic showed faulty circuit board cluster. problem as follows: causing cruise control light to turn on at speeds ranging from 10 - 55 plus miles per hour without driver engaging cruise control. i feel that this is a possible safety hazard, this control engaging itself at speeds under 35 miles per hour. secondary problem: vehicle has begun to stall in traffic. the latest was on 5/11/02 - speed of vehicle 35 miles per hour - vehicle quit and was forced to pull over to side of road to get out of traffic and re-start vehicle. please note that this vehicle had major tune-up done less than 6 months ago. have also replaced starter in dec. 2001, fuel pressure regulator last month. please respond at your earliest convenience. keith w. adam 5/11/02. *ak |
