Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I braked and swerved to avoid hitting a metal tank that just fell off a trailer in front of me, hit the tank on the right front, then discontinued braking. then the right front, left front, and right rear tires collapsed off the rims. i lost control of the car, swerved into the median/ditch, car turned 180 degrees and rolled back (almost rolled over). car sustained significant body and undercarriage damage. due to seat belt usage, my passenger and i sustained minor injuries only. i was travelling 50 mph on a 4-lane divided highway. weather was 90 degrees, sunny, and dry. if the tires had not failed, i would have had minor body damage only. complete dot number is bfrwtu410202.*ak
