Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Before i bought this chrysler product the 2nd transmission had already been installed on june 16th of 1997 just 14 days before we took ownership of the car. the 3rd transmission was installed on may 26th, 1999. the date is june 17th, 2002 and i currently have the vehicle at the dealership and they tell me it needs another transmission. this last time was very dangerous. i had my wife and four children in the car and we were going 60 miles per hour on a busy highway when the transmission failed. a car behind us barely missed hitting us. i don't understand chryslers refusal to recognize the problems with their transmissions. are they waiting until someone gets killed, just like the faulty tires on ford vehicles. the current dealership, laflam in runnemede, new jersey, refuses to even address fixing the transmission because the vehicle is too old. i would think after three bad transmissions they should install the fourth transmission out of their pockets as a good faith gesture. american made cars?????*ak
