| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: All four vehicle tires had separated tread, one major, the vehicle was not driven over 70 mph highway and was not taken off-road at any time. tires were replaced by discount tire 1300 e expressway 83 mcallen tx 956-668-9789 on 6-18-2002. tires were kept inflated properly, alignment maintained with normal tread wear on tires. one tire had been repaired for a flat. general tire was contacted and demonstrated no concern over four tire treads seperating on one vehicle under normal use on 6-19-2002. i believe general has a severe safety issue with this tire that needs immediate attention.*ak |
