| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tire wall failed castastrophically entire wall let go. did not hit anything, tire pressure maintained at 35 psi cheched undamaged tires after incident all at 35 psi with two different tire gauges. took tire to dealer (sam's) tread remaining 6/32 or orginial 14/32. dealer will refund on 33% of orginial cost but michenlin demands damaged tire be returned in? concerned because i recommended these tires as replacements for my daughters 2000 ford explorer . called michenlin and got no indication of any concern about the incident or desire to learn why tire failed.*ak |
