Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Oil is following the wiring harness out of the generator/stator cover and up to the voltage rectifier. i called kawasaki and they acted like it wasn't their problem. i think it is a fire hazard with oil and wiring mixing. there are many others having this same problem. proceed to www.zx-12r.org and go to the zx-12r forum and please see category called attention please electrical failure due to oil. you will see about 8 pages of entries pertaining to this problem including pictures. i feel this may help me explain the problem that i and many others are having, and possibly some not knowing until it is too late. thanks in advance for your time and consideration to this problem. i feel it is a definate safety issue that has thousands of lives on the line and kawasaki should step up and admit there is a problem. have a good day. william j. keenan. *ak |
