Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: On this the first year of the new model of the yamaha grizzly 660, due to the design of the engine compartment, there is a problem with the engine vapor locking due to the gasoline in the fuel tank and carburetor boiling. what happens is when you are doing some slow technical trail riding, there doesnt seem to be sufficient ventilation to keep the engine compartment cool. because of this, the fuel actually boils. you can take the gas cap off the fuel tank and hear the pressure release, then look in the gas tank and actually see, and hear the gasoline bubbling (boiling).*ak |
