Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have experienced problems with the operation of my four wheeler both related to a near stalling problem when going up an incline as well as boiling gas in my gas tank. i was not injured, however if the machine had not recovered from sputtering and losing all power i fear i may have been injured badly by rolling over backwards. as i mentioned i have also expereinced boiling gas coming from either my gas tank or my carburetor, not sure which. if gas gets hot enough to boil i am sure the flash point is not that far off. i have read countless accounts of other 660 grizzly owners on various web site's forum sections under "yamaha" related to atv's such as www.highlifter.com, www.atvnation.com, and www.atvconnection.com. there have been minor injuries as a result of these same mechanical failures as i have experienced. god forbid that my wife should experience the same problems that i have while she is riding the machine over the same type of riding conditions, which were very novice riding conditions, unless there is a failure of the machine to operate. something needs to be done about this problem immediately before someone is badly injured or killed.*ak |
