Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Loud hard knocking noise coming from engine at cold start up. then after engine is warmed up after driving and deceleration you can still hear the knocking noise, just not as loud as at cold start. taken to dealership, and advised chevrolet was aware of problem, and did not have a solution. advised by dealer it would not hurt engine, but i disagree, the very hard knocking can not be good for the valves, or crankshaft, and has to be causing some sort damage within the engine itself.
