Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Going 70 mph and the tire tread ripped off like a fruit peel. the tire still had had all its air in it when i came to a stop. i did not crash and no body was hurt. i sent the tire to firestone for them to look at. they said the tire was not inflated correctly and it was my fault. my insurance co. has paid for the cost of damage but not for my new tires. i would like to know if there is a class action suit that i might contact? i still have the tire with me. i asked firestone to send it back to me and they did. the tires were 60 thousand mile tires and i had about 30-40 thousand on them. i have pictures and a short video of the old tire and its mates showing the tread depth.*ak
