Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dealership is trying to charge me $900.00 to replace rear pads, emergency pad and new rotors. the vehicle was in for inspection at 74504 miles and reported to me that the pads had 50% usage. now 9 weeks later they tell me that the rotors have a problem of flaking and that caused the unusuall wear to the pads. they mentioned that they have seen this occurence in as little as 11,000 miles. if this is true, there are many vehicles out there that could suffer braking problems without due notice. i wanted to check if this is in fact a problem with these vehicles, or if it is just a "scam" by the dealership to get me to buy new rotors, or if i was misinformed at my last inspection and they are trying to cover up their error.*ak |
