| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I was sitting in a parking lot and noticed gas fumes in the cab. i got out and looked under the suv and there was a puddle of gasoline dripping off the engine onto the ground. i took the car to the dealer (which couldn't fix it on a saturday so we had to stay in town two extra days until monday and rent a car, but they were fast on monday) . i was informed by the dealer that this was not a covered repair because it was out of the original warranty period , but more concerning was that they could offer no explaination as to what had caused the leak. i am concerned because this could have happened while driving down the highway and caused a fire or explosion and injured or killed me or a member of my family. i have emailed gmc on their web site today. please look into this as it could be life threatning.*ak |
