Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: This is a wide spread problem with these motorcycles, it exists in 1999-2001 model years, the company has reengineered the transmissions the past 2 model years to correct the problem, but, us folks with the older motorcycles with the bad transmissions have to wait for a catastrophic failure, and if we are lucky enough to have an extended warranty, the warranty company has to ok the repair, it is my feeling that with a problem as well documented and potentially dangerous as this, the company should recall the defectives bikes and upgrade the transmissions, before someone gets hurt or killed.*ak |
