Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: This has been taken to dealer/buerkle buick 3350 highway 61, st. paul, mn. 55110. service tec refused to document this problem. there is an intermittent failure of the display circuit which indicates the gear the car is in. on start-up, there is no display of shift position or radio display. about 30-40 seconds later, there is an audible "tink" directly in front of the driver in the dash. obviously, there is a defective relay in the circuit, and i am not going to get "caught" on this one after the warrenty period is up. this report establishes an offical record of the problem to ensure future repair. it is inherently dangerous to have no idea of what gear one is in , other than guessing! mr |
