Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The passenger side seat of my 2000 s10 pickup does not catch after you move it forward to gain access to the back of the seats. in order to get catch, i have to push as hard as i can back into the full back position. if this is not done and i make a sudden stop the passenger and seat are thrown forward toward the windshield. when i took it to the dealer the first time this happened they said the could not find anything wrong with the passenger seat but did fix the driver's seat that was doing the same thing. i have seen similar reports on some websites about s10's. this has been going on since i have owned the vehicle. since i am now aware of the problem i know how to avoid it but it is a problem that should be fixed by the manufacturer.*jb |
