| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My 2002 gmc yukon xl does not have an alarm for *open* driver/passenger door (it only has a rear "cargo door open" indicator). you can actually drive with the driver/passenger slightly ajar (you hear wind) or opened, *without* any notification or alarm. gmc customer service (800 #) & fremont gmc position that this is by design. i believe it is a safety flaw that requires government intervention to correct. a safety recall is warranted. *nlm |
