| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The brake line (a metal rod, not hose) broke off, on an ice mountain road on december 23, 2002. the car was brand new with 9800 miles on it and there my three children ages 3, 3, and 5 were in the car. we were towed down the mountain for 60 miles. general motors fixed the brake line and took over two months to get back to me with a $55.00 reimbursement for the car rental. this could have been catastrophic for my family. the car could not stop at all. *nlm |
