| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have had several failures of the child restraint system. a switch on the seat belt allows tesion to remain in the lap section of the seat belt. this tension secures child seats into the car by preventing motion. the entire force on this restraint (in the lap section) is transferred thru a small section of plastic which can crack and break easily. without tension in the lap section of the belt, child safety seats are not firmly secured allowing motion should an accident occur. |
