| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: While driving the vehicle shut off. it was difficult for the driver to restart the vehicle. *nlm consumer took the vehicle to a nearby mechanic who diagnosed the problem as a failed intake manifold. the mechanic pointed out that the failure had occurred in the plastic part of the manifold. the replacement part was ordered, which was also made of plastic. consumer was informed that he was the third customer with intake manifold problems within that month. ford has modified that part by adding a piece of metal to it. *ph *jb |
