| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Unwanted acceleration - the vehicle accelerates spontaneously while driving and contine to accelarate or hold steady speed without depressing the accelerator causing the driver to have to continually depress the brake pedal in order to slow the vehicle. while trying to stop it will continue to rev and then suddenly rev down causing the vehicle to suddenly lurch down because of the pressure on the brake. the vehicle will start at normal rpm's and then surge when the vehicle is put in gear (forward or reverse). it has been to the dealer four times and the dealer cannot identify or repair the problem, twice in july of 2002, once in august of 2002, and most recently in july of 2003. *ak |
