| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Improper adjustment to steering damper bolt caused consumer to be thrown from the motorcycle. *mr the consumer removed the side car from the vehicle per instruction manual. (there was no mention of adjusting any steering mechanism or suspension) the consumer was driving the vehicle when the handle bar started to sway violently. the consumer was unable to hold on, and was thrown onto the highway. (the manual also stated: loose steering head bearing(s) can contribute to sudden front end oscillation). after the motorcycle was returned from the previous incident, the consumer started the motor cycle, and a loud explosion was heard coming from the right carburetor. within a minute, the vehicle was engulfed in flames. 2001 ural bc-65 *scc *jb |
