Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I have gone on numerious occasions to the ford dealer because my ford explorer xls 2000has had alternator/battery gauage/charging problem. each time i have gone i have not been satisfied with their answers or work and have already replaced my alternator twice and my battery once since the purchase of my brand new vechile. the gauge does not mark that it is charging in the middle(normal) has it once was before the first alternator replacement. when i've complained about this they tell me its normal for the gauge to read below the middle. i'm not and have not been satisfied with the answer since my suv has never read below normal until they replaced the alternator. i've taken it for second opinions to car mechanics and they expressed that the gauage should be in the middle and that the battery is not charging at were it suppose to.*ak
