| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Vehicle is a 2000 2wd chevrolet tahoe. vehicle was being backed out of a parking space when a loud bang was heard. after this bang, the steering was very loose and it was hard to control the vehicle. immediate problem was determined to be 2 of the 3 bolts holding steering box in place had sheared. chevy dealer has not offered a good explanation for this failure. he keeps stating that the vehicle hit something to cause the bolts to shear. vehicle is in excellent condition and well maintained. *ak |
