| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: A little under 50,000 miles when i got the vehicle. about a month later two vertical cracks appeared along the seams of where the airbag deploys.*ak a friend informed me that they knew someone who had cracks in their dash too...in the same location! i thought that this was unusal. i did a little research and found out that this wasn't an isolated incident. several other 300m owners experience the same problem. there is indeed a problem with the materials used. i called repair shops and they said they would not touch it (due to the proximity of the air bag/ legal issues) i'm afraid that in the event of an accident the air bag will not deploy properly and will cause bodily injury to a passenger if this issue is not resolved . |
