| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Engine light sensor, air bag sensor keeps coming on. took in to dealer for engine light sensor 3 months ago to correct that. today, took in to dealer for air bag sensor light which kept coming on every 10 seconds. dealer stated because of a bad sensor in the seatbelt contraption air bag light was coming on--doesn't make sense to me. so, of course they had to order some kind of part to the tune of 118 dollars plus labor so bill was 330 dollars to fix something which i believe is defective and their fault. what the air bag light has to do with the seat belt is beyond me. noticed a similiar complaint on your site dated september 30, 2004 at 03:21 pm for same model car. i think this needs to be investigated. as the person stated in their complaint, air bag can deploy for no reason, or air bag will not deploy in the event of accident. i believe this is a severe safety issue here.*ak |
