Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I had a lift kit from rancho/tenneco auto parts put on my 2002 gmc sierra 4wd truck. i was driving home and the steering knuckle cracked and caused my tire to fly off and my truck to skid across property and into a small ditch. i have photos to prove the damage. i returned my truck to the installer and they called their mfg. and suppliers. both acted as if they would pay for repairs. but when i wouldn't sign a release they would not pay for the damages. i had to put the loss on my own insurance. i had just had neck surgery and have been in therapy ever since. i asked for the part back, and of course they say it's lost. without the part, i haven't been able to find a attorney to take my case. i did file suit against the installer/supplier/mfg in hopes that someone with settle. i want someone to take responsibility for the crack in the cast knuckle and reimburse my expenses.*ak |
