Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have been having trouble with the transmission on my 2000 victory v92sc for about as long as i have had it (that is 2.5 years). the bike only has 9000 miles on it and i am the original owner. sometimes the bike will not go into gear and sometimes it will "pop" out of gear. i have gone to my local dealer and they say that they cannot replicate the problem so until there is a major mechanical failure they will do nothing. the dealer i bought it from latter said there was an issue with the transmissions. he said an internal part was notorious for getting loose and causing damage. instead of tightinging it he recomended that i ride with it like that until it fails and the they will replace the tranny under warranty with the new tranny style parts. i said no and had them tighten it. i wish i would have listened and had the new parts. *ak |
