Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Brakes failed to stop the truck (brake pedal goes all the way to the floor in an emergency situation) i took the truck back to the dealer and they found the hydro boost to the brakes to be leaking fliud. they replaced the part, it helped the brakes some but did not take care of the problem. the problem is when you are on a pothole or washboard road and use the brakes the pedal will go all the way to the floor and will not stop the truck at all. when you stop on a smooth road the brakes seem to work fine. tthe only other thing that is a real concern to me is when you are just sitting in the truck wether it is running or not you can push on the brake pedal with little effort and it will go all the way to the floor. i have taken the truck to two different dealers to try and get my problem solved. the mechanics agree that it shouldn't do what its doing but can't find the problem. there are times when it is dargerous to drive the truck . *ak
