Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I am writing because my pontiac montana minivan has a hood that is rusting in many places, on top of the hood and under the hood. this occurred before 48,000 miles, this is when we purchased the van and the problem was apparent. i am concerned because i question the safety of the hood if we were to be in a frontal collision. i took the van into the pontiac dealer who took pictures and then they contacted the warranty department who looked at the picures and said there is nothing they can do. i was not happy with the response and therefore called the customer representative departartment who inturned called the dealer and then repeated what the dealer told me. i was givien the ring around and am annoyed that pontiac did not find this problem to be a safety issue.*ak |
